A federal grand jury in the Western District of Wisconsin, sitting in Madison, returned an indictment yesterday against Sarah McKenzie, age 40 of Milltown. McKenzie is charged with seven counts of making a forged paycheck from Core Products International Incorporated of Osceola. The indictment alleges that she made forged paychecks on seven occasions from July 2012 to July 2016. If convicted, McKenzie faces a maximum penalty of 10 years in federal prison on each count. The charges against her are the result of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Polk County Sheriff’s Office, and Osceola Police Department. The prosecution of this case is being handled by Assistant US Attorney Aaron Wegner.
